[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021
Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

Even these two range is comes under uncertainty.......how could one be certain of cutoff.....only people getting 110+ have certainty of their selection.....

Hello guys, i'm getting marks in the range of 85-95 in paper 1. But in csat i'm getting 62.5-65.83 in this range. I'm from ph category (mentioning this just for the sake of clarity). After seeing my marks in csat i decided i'll start preparing for 2021 now, bcz in the upsc notification it's clearly mentioned that we've to score 33% in csat, i.e. 66 marks. But yesterday i talked to one sir and he said that in ph category sometimes they relax this criteria as he has heard so this has me highly confused. As from my experience i don't think this is true so, i just want clarity so that i can focus on my next year exam. @Neyawn sir please clarify this if you've time. And i would request others as well to respond if they've any idea about the same. Thank You.

Reached interview stage in first attempt but couldn't make it to final list.Failed in prelims 2019 by 2 marks.Getting 90.2 in 2020 considering all debatable Questions wrong.This was 3rd attempt.Left job for preparation.But failure in this prelims and household conditions are forcing me to leave this dream,and get some job.
But I will keep preparing and will come back better prepared next year.

This time it is very difficult to trust answ keys especially for questions on blockchain, AI, non financial debt, gene, govt trading. One cannot simply assume science tech hai so all remaining correct after elimination.
What ever score you are getting through keys, real score will be either high or low.

Exactly that's why am saying 110 only can be said to done with their chances
@VivekanandS this time paper is tough no easy questions (except one dpsp question).. Every time there will be sitters from economy, modern history, geography, map.. Now all questions are moderate to difficult... A person familiar with subjects can only answer... Every time around 10 marks come from this sitters.. Now this 10 marks is not easily available to everyone... Out of my huge experience this time cutoff will go down.. But I don't know how much..

My take on cut off: 92-94 considering people writing mains will be lower than last year.
and those who are in the range 100-110 of coaching answer key, do not trust them. Change in 4-5 questions can bring down your score drastically. Has happened with many of my friends last year.
Lower intake will be compensated by Tougher CSAT! What Say?

Since 2017 ... I really hate Only,all, at least etc etc. Zindagi jhand kar di hai english in 4-5 words ne !! *
