Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.
@neyawn sir and others, what is your take?
This is the official Thread for discussion of Prelims Postponement, Please do not create new threads for the same.
I have been silently noticing the over analysing mania going on in this forum from last 7 days..
Bhai.. NALSA will be A and B.. Senior citizen will not be considered by UPSC. I marked senior citizen but i know how u0ac is... They dont overanalyse... And thats why they ask us to mark the MOST APPROPRIATE choice and NOT the COORRECT option.
This discussion also reminds me of where many candidates go wrong wrt prelims...
And why many are not selected year after year.. Sorry for being blunt, but thats true

And why the exam is overrated! With its fair share of randomness rather than difficulty

No need to be sorry . I accept wht u say . But tell me how A nd B is most appropriate . Is nt transgender option as wrong as the senior citizen option ? Are we supposed to be objective or subjective like the arts people in a mcq exam ? I just put my views and forwarded it to upsc on qus being wrong . Rest depends on them . No need to be emotional on this .

Yes True..This definitely was a wrongly framed question!Transgender option is as wrong as Senior Citizen. There is no doubt in that.
I am sure that UPSC framed qn seeing that pdf of legal services authoritt where statewise beneficiaries is given..In case of delhi.. Transgender are allowed free services for upto 2 lakh i think... Correct me if i am wrong... And thats why its correct
Well Said..they might have picked verbatim from there! But There are some states including Bihar Haryana where All Senior Citizens are Included irrespective of any income. So Far as NALSA is concerned, they do not set any criteria for transgender and Senior Citizens, instead leave it to states to classify.
Correct me If I am wrong!
@mandeepsngh123 if it is so random I could not fathom the reason of why same set of people keep clearing it.
There is a huge set which doesn't, goes into oblivion because everyone loves to celebrate and eulogize institutions. And the randomised version has started since 2018, where even well prepared students who have sat for mains are left at the mercy of intelligent guesswork
Genuine doubt : Why was CAA not deemed unconstitutional despite violating Art 14 and the Preamble?
Its not just you brother, entire nation wants to know the answer for this.
