[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021

Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

@Sniper Agreed, that your post can be open to multiple interpretations and orginal intention misconstrued. But the larger point was in regard to other comments seen in forum threads, which are as hateful as they come. Passive Islamophobia(insert any other religion) can feed off and into open hate very well, especially with the pernicious influence of mass media during these times. A look at toxic Twitter feed will tell half the story. We need "hate quarantine" along with corona quarantine so these people get called out, shamed and corrected. 

Please do the needful updation in rules @root

Please avoid political discussions in the forum. We have the rest of the internet to do that. We are at a point in human history where mankind has maximum time, with most thing delegated your software and machines , and maximum freedom of speech.

People generally do not make good use of what they have excess of.

We have done away with discuss - sinking more than a lakh users and good information, because of using the platform for discussing anything but studies .

The Print posted an article in which they claim that UPSC has decided to postpone the exam and announcement will be after 3rd may. This was confirmed to them by an official of the body. So yeah, Prelims is definitely going to be postponed. Date likely according to me is 9th Aug.

@Kira0705 Na. The new calendars would be issued and UPSC will give atleast a 2 months heads up. It could possibly align the dates with 2016 cycle of holding the pre in Aug and mains in Dec.
