 Words of politicians:-

1. Unemployment badh rahi hai.

2. Weekly markets should be open

Politicians other side;-

Postpone NEET and JEE exams due to covid.

Politicians politics kar rahe hai ..youth ko ye samjhna chahiye and is distraction se hatkar padhna chahiye. Infact weekly markets bhi khul gaye hai .

LIFE SAVING ADVICE :

In my view jo exam postpone chahta hai wo is saal ka  attempt na de,  agle saal de and apni life suraksit karen. :D wese bhi postpone hua to agle saal hi hota does not make any difference.

conditions apply: Age criteria dhyan me rakhte hue.

@Consistency there's also another guy (selected in both IAS and former rbi grade b officer) who posts videos on his own channel. That guy  also has very good videos on how to approach prelims. He literally solves pyq papers like 2019 one solely based on simple logic and pre existing knowledge base.

Have nothing but respect for him for his initiative !

But solving a question paper with the benefit of HINDSIGHT is a little too convenient, don't you think ? I mean if you are a veteran who has failed prelims at least once, you must actually have experienced a very peculiar thing - the same question that you attempted wrongly seems like the easiest one after you come out of the exam hall. "arre iss mein kaise galati ho gayi" you would think.

So those tricks and everything is fine upto a limit. Beyond that, practice (of at least 30 tests), the ability to back yourself and take risks where necessary and a calm mind are your allies on the D-DAY !

Hindsight leads to guidence. guidence can be a bliss to those who are seeking it.  ofcourse it can be helpful .

Practising PYQ's and mocks repeatedly can sail you through.

Anybody gave abhyas 2???

yes i did.

how did u find it??

I find it moderate. Some questions like coupland plan, putcut , I don't know the source where to find them. Craving for result as I gave on 6 .

I think app is not necessary. It can also be done with pen and paper.

For instance:

Can anybody please explain this? (PYQ 2010)
All 4 statements seem correct to me, but there is no option with all correct

The answer to this ques is D as you can easily eliminate statement 2 specifically higher education likha hai which is capacity driven to wrong hoga. thats my opinion.

I've to disagree with others here. This question is actually wrong with no options right, and ideally should be free marks to everyone.

So strikes should be calculated in terms of intervals here.

So 5 strikes = 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5; so 4 intervals

And with given data of 12 seconds for 5 strikes - we can find that each interval is 3 seconds long

So when clock strikes 10, it will be 10 strikes, 9 intervals - 9 x 3 = 27 seconds which isn't part of any of the options.

This was an issue in 2017, but they didn't seem to change the ans key.

Much hailed indifferent attitude of UPSC was at show here.

Anyway these are exceptions, not the rule.

So if we find such inconsistencies in the exam hall, don't dwell too much, and try to focus the energies to the rest of the questions

Good luck buddy!

correct. i was also thinking this . UPSC fully autonomous hone ka fayada utha rahi hai :D anyway thanks . :)
