I dont think exam should happen on 4th October as it will not be possible for candidates to stay in hotels in October. Moreover, it will be difficult and unsafe for many to travel to Centres by using public transport. It will be better if this year's exam is merged with cse 2021 with one compensatory attempt in 2022 to all affected students irrespective of age/attempt.
UPSC is well aware of the situation and will take decision accordingly but atleast One extra attempt should be given to every aspirant iwho has applied for Cse 2020 irrespective of his/her age/previous attempts even if he/ she sits for the exam on October 4th or not under these unprecedented difficult circumstances.
