@Patience 99 Thanks for the suggestion. Will have to try it. Maybe its my own mental block and FOMO on facts that doesn't allow me move fast enough.

I have really not been in groove since yesterday. I again got up late today and that was still acceptable to an extent. Then, headache did hit me like hell.I don't know whether it is due to my recently diagnosed eyesight issues yaa mai awein hi looking for excuses.

Pta nahi what it  really is, but I will be in the library before 7:30 tomorrow. Starting a day on a positive note has always helped me.So, hopefully it will wake my out of the slumber.

Targets updation in the morning(Before 7:30 am)

@LetsGetThisBread I pray for your mental well being. Hopefully, you will survive this bout of absurdity after reading my scripts, ma'am. Also, you can choose to be bribed.Lol.

Shubh Ratri doston.

Apparently I’ve heard professors get paid 3 lakhs to correct the copies. 😬😬😬

Hi all!

I'm back after a hectic day(yesterday) and a mindful break(today). Posting targets here keeps me in check, so I wouldn't have been able to stay away for too long anyway.

Today's target is to get everything in order and start September on a good note 🌼

Good Luck to me and all of you 🌞🌞

Sharing something from a newsletter I read..

"Life presents an endless series of interruptions and distractions.

You will continually be pulled off course or asked to put out a fire created by someone else. People will disrespect your time and steal your attention—usually with no intention of malice, but simply because different people have different priorities.

When your day is interrupted or your progress stalls, it's easy for your mindset to collapse as well. You may feel guilty for not following through on what you intended to do. But you are not guilty, you are human.

Everyone gets distracted. In many ways, the real divide is between those who get back on track quickly and those who let interruptions expand into longer periods of inactivity.

Top performers get back on track faster than most. This is the skill to develop. You will be interrupted, but you can choose to keep it brief."

@Deepanshu_Namdev Just notes prep for MGP Qs and topics. Kahin se to shuruat karni hai notes ki.

On that note, @everyone please recommend sites with quality content online. Was using Drishti earlier, but now realising thoda precision and clarity kam h udhar. Same topic from IAS Parliament (didnt even know about it) felt so much better. @LetsGetThisBread I remember you said you used online resources extensively.

Hello folks,
Could anyone from a non humanities background or someone not actively interested in subjects like polity and governance, kindly brief me as to how they go about internalizing or retaining them.
I have read it multiple times but somehow end up not retaining much. This could attributed to lack of active interest or too objective frame of mind that I possess.

Any interest generating or memorising techniques, suggestions, inputs are welcome 😊

Can you tell with example as why drishti ias isn't that effective? It'll be really helpful for aspirants like me who are in a way dependent on drishti for daily CA.

Science background here

Boss, can you be a Lil bit more specific as to what you really want to internalise and memorise?

Concepts of polity can be understood by creating algorithms of 'if,not and while format' eg. All three emergencies.

If you want to understand the philosophy behind it, then that's a different ball game.

While to retain those articles you'll need to juxtapose them. How is A358 different than A359 etc.

You can also try to understand the ordering of articles.

A constitution of a country would first want to define what the country is, it's boundaries, it's citizens and it's state etc. Hence A(1-12) and so on.
