The journey of CSE becomes more cumbersome when a person clears GS 1 comfortably but fails Csat repeatedly.

Clearing GS 1 repeatedly gives you confidence that you are on right track but CSAT failure (2 in line) do not give you a chance to cheer on your good work.

I believe getting competency in Csat is difficult in limited time. I joined amit garg's course in my 2022 attempt but it was full of crap.

Can anyone tell me how to master csat?

I use the PYQ and practice. I think sleepyclasses also has a YouTube playlist for CSAT which is good

Hey everybody!

Starting from today my preparation for 2023. This will be my 2nd attempt. Having decided against going to Delhi, I'll be moving along with the community.
Like most of you guys over here, I'll be posting my daily targets, daily results, and weekly results on a regular basis hoping to build on small achievements. Will seek a little guidance from you all every now and then as I've arrived a little late to the party.

(Day 01)

Targets for today -

Polity - M.Laxm. (Chapters 1-4)

PSIR - SR Ma'am notes (Plato and Socrates)

TH - 2nd Sept.

Newspaper reading is where I need a little guidance. How do I go about it? Making notes every day sounds like a daunting task to me. Do you guys make handwritten notes for everything you feel is important or only for things not well covered in online portals like Insights/BABA, etc? How do you do it? Please guide. Suggestions are required.

Good Morning, dudes and dudettes!

Daily Target Results -

Targets for 04/09/22 (Day 02) -

Polity - M. Laxmi. (Chapters 03-07)

PSIR - SR Ma'am Notes (Plato & Socrates Revision + Aristotle)

TH - 1st May + 1st Sept

I've decided to re-read the previous newspapers from May at least and I'll be making notes this time which I hadn't done earlier. Let's see how this pans out.

Good Morning, dudes and dudettes!

Targets for 05/09/22 (Day 03) -

Polity - M. Laxmi. (Chapters 07-11)

PSIR - SR Ma'am notes (Re-read Plato, Socrates & Aristotle)

TH - 2nd May + 2nd Sept

Newspaper reading and then making notes out of it is the worst exercise ever. But I guess that's why it's so important. It's like eating bitter gourd. You know it tastes horrible but you've to eat it because it's healthy.

I've always admired Jaun Eliya for his "bebakness" and this fits way too well for all those of us struggling with consistency. Happy day Folks!

Did these two exact things in 2021 & it worked.  Didn't do either of them in 2022 n here I am.

A few questions
What readings/book/booklets should I use for these topics? Or should I just read 2-3 years of mains 365 compilations and make notes accordingly?
And how much time these topics should take ideally?

I know that is subjective, I just don't want to allocate more time than necessary( something that I end up doing a lot of times😅)

Same question!

People have their own biases and life worlds which they project onto others, don't they ? Sometimes it helps us  make quick decisions that protect us from unknown 'things' and sometimes our projections cost us an opportunity. It happens with all of us right ?

Well I finally changed my username :)) Am I happy with it? maybe?

I hope after 30-40 years, Someone re-creates GOT again pursuing  all the plots and mysteries present in The Song of Ice and Fire.

Today's Progress-

A small confession- Last 10-12 pages of Monthly are still to be finished.

So,I found a decent rhythm after a week or so after I was done with exams. I honestly loved it.Today was a slow ride, where I could grasp almost everything I read. Even reading the Vision monthly didn't seem like a shitty task.

@LetsGetThisBread Same energy yaar. If there is one thing that I love the most(and still quite inaccessible),it is my sleep. A funny anecdote here- So, last summer when I felt like sleeping while studying, I made a mischievous plan. I closed my room and even the fans to ensure that I get to hear the footsteps when my parents come near the door. But alas, I was caught red handed.

In my limited choice of aspirations, I want to have 3-4 days on trot, where I just sleep and sleep without having to care for anything.

@Morticia This is such a good start. Best of luck dost.

@DancingMaster You didn't change your username but rather you are reborn:neutral_face:

@huck A genuine advice- Except for IR part of GS2, don't jump to Mains 365 straightway. It will make the coverage of topics a bit haphazard.

Shubh Ratri doston.

*I need to run since the gates to my society close at around 10:15.

Posting my targets here for tomorrow (because shaam ke 5 baje college se wapis aakar schedule banane ka motivation is as elusive as unicorns, or me sticking to my exercise schedule XD). So targets for 5.9.22 are:

NABARD (high priority)

Daily C/A

Editorial notes

May C/A backlog-20-25

Will we get the bread tomorrow? Time will tell I guess :)

Got done absolutely nothing so far. Didn’t realise how draining going back to college is going to be in this heat. I over anticipated my own productivity levels. It doesn’t help that I’m fasting as well. The first week of getting back into my IF routine is always painful. Yeh hafta low productivity m hi niklega I guess, FML
