Economics Bond price and Bond Yield Question

A fall in interest rates makes bond prices rise, and bond yields fall — and rising interest rates cause bond prices to fall, and bond yields to rise. In short, a rise in bond yields means interest rates in the monetary system have fallen, and the returns for investors (those who invested in bonds and govt securities) have declined.

What exactly is "interest rate " mentioned in para- Repo rate or rate of return or what?

Yeah! You can go through March 2021 Vision monthly to know more in detail.

@balwintejas I think the interest rate being talked about in the article is interest rate set by RBI ie repo rate.  Either way prevailing market rate is ultimately dependent on RBI or US Central bank repo. So if RBI increases interest rate, coupon rate of bond which is fixed becomes unattractive and thus demand and prices fall

One can relate it with the repo as well as Repo rate and consequent interest rate affect the same.

But largely as can be seen in Vision monthly, it relates more to market interest rate.

It's more over the continents. There is usually more cloud cover over oceans compared to continents. This means less sunlight reaches the ocean compared to continents since the clouds over the oceans reflect the sunlight.

Jaivik Bharat logo, NPOP and PGS , whats the difference ?

NPOP is under the ministry of commerce and industries.

PGS is under ministry of agriculture and farmer's welfare.

Jaivik bharat logo and licence is granted by fssai once a product is certified as organic by NPOP or PGS. It is basically used to distinguish between organic and conventional food products for the lay consumers.

please explain the reason behind answer.

Preamble is not independently justifiable, (for example preamble provides for economic justice but it is not justifiable and hence a poor person may not be able to sue government for this)however if there is a situation wherein preamble is used with some other justifiable provision of the constitution, then the preamble will also have a legal effect.

for example if provisions of preamble is used along with fundamental rights , then whatever is given in that particular case in the preamble will also be deemed to be justifiable.

This was established by Supreme Court in a judgement which I don't really remember now. I hope this clears something.

Oh. So it was because of SC judgement. I was going through the Lakshmikant's version and hence got it wrong.
