Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.
@neyawn sir and others, what is your take?
This is the official Thread for discussion of Prelims Postponement, Please do not create new threads for the same.
@SergioRamos Abhyaas 2 Test of vision had a question on 'Pareto Optimality'. I knew it because my optional is economics and this topic is covered in Microeconomics. But it's impossible for others to know it.
I faintly remembered it because it was in a PubAd PYQ
Oh man, judging by the font, I think I know the institute!
I hate these guys. :P No.1in hyping up the exam.
Do they have a free Manicure initiative with a synopsis no one reads?
I have read the current affairs for Prelims but haven't made notes. Now I am struggling. Should I rely on these compilations now??

@whatonly My thinking here says that the syllabus is focused on Indian Economy, not Economics. Plus as a general study perspective, I do not think going beyond 12th Macro has any relevance.
These standard books, in a bid to be exhaustive, overdo themselves. Same with tests.
To be the devil's advocate, every YEAR crafting 5000 questions from the same syllabus is pretty rough.
These questions need to be somewhat novel too, otherwise, why would an aspirant go for a new test series?
Plus, there also needs to be a lot of tests for marketing purposes.
For example, I believe, well crafted 20-25 tests are more than enough for Prelims. But suppose, I am selling a 22 test series for 8k(Mind you, high quality), while the other one is offering 40 at the same price(The quality is bound to dilute). Students will rush for the 40 ones.
Had Adam Smith been around, I would've told him, bro, people are anything but rational! :p
Hahah! Agreed! And so many people confuse economics and Indian economy! But I did find Ramesh Singh super useful for all the banking questions!
And according to them, this has to be complemented by daily CA and Static MCQ and answer writing for HOLISTIC COVERAGE! :P
@CuriousKid Sorry bhai, I haven't read this one so can't tell. Even I haven't made any exhaustive notes. If you are doing PT365/Vision Monthly it should be enough as most are doing that only. Baaki some experienced players can better tell as I am also the one giving 1st serious attempt this time only.
Ok. Thanks.
@whatonly Have you checked out the Sri Ram book? Went through it was pretty decent. Found it better then Ramesh Singh. See it someday!
I haven’t. Heard about it after the golden lock-your-sources rule of prelims came into force :p but thanks for reminding me of it! Have some stray questions in banking, will check it out.
