[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021
Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.
@neyawn sir and others, what is your take?

Reforms such as
1. To improve the exam for Hindi candidate by not using Google translate.
2. Count CSAT marks but not in same proportion. Maybe only (50%)
3. Or introduce a separate GS paper for Agriculture and environment doing away with CSAT paper (total GS 400 marks).... Will give long range and hence randomness will decrease.
Or something else you can suggest
Actually these coaching wala charge so hefty Money from aspirants, but they never take the batton for reforms in exam legally (as they have both time and money and also experience unlike aspirants who stays here only for 3-4 years max)
They are being benefitted out of this system, hence milking the cow to the end.

Barcelona,@Tyler Durden This exam has destroyed lot of careers and life than it has made, in hope of cracking it in next attempt or preparing it full time. If you have age, establish yourself first professionally and then take calculated risk so that you can comfortably fall back amd return to workforce. After two years of serious preparation full time you only need CA to study. I see people deliberately sitting unemployed after graduation just to crack this. After some failures it brings confidence breakdown, you hit the glass ceiling of preparation, become anxious and just think of getting any job. There is also a fantasy associated with people of cracking it in first attempt, I read a comment of user yesterday who cried continuously during break not because exam went bad but that user wanted to give mains in first attempt and won't be able to. Thinking about clearing it in one go is good but too much romanticism with it breaks you down. I blame youtube channels promoting this nonsense. Besides lot of people now only give exam to get highlight after cracking it, the standards of popularity set but Dina Tabi amd likewise people on social media has brainwashed people. Very few people give this exam to make a good career primarily, most of them are in blind race.

Truth is ... When u became wise ... You dont take uninvited risk. You want to make sure your hard work should not get wasted in your self created wilderness of Tukkas.I stopped marking after marking 78 questions. I thought ... I took too much risk . Even .. I have 3 to 4 question solved with tukkas in my kitty to mark ... but did not did that.However, I think.. I did wise because ... My accuracy is good and I never marked 80 plus with almost 60 correct . But , This time ... Keys bruaght me down to 53 to 54 correct and score around 95.So, I think.. Jab mera 5 to 8 marks gira hai to baaki seriously hard working students ka bhi gira hoga ... because ... No serious student take such huge risk if he want to get selected in same attempt. .. SoThat is why yaar 5 to 10 marks most of serious students k kam hue hi hai.And .. I dont want to say anything about few superhumans and Tukkebaaj among us.
There is more bad news for people who attempt less. Our marks won't change a lot, at least they won't go up a lot, even if coaching institute keys have some errors. If you attempt 95+ your marks could swing either way but in 70s there won't be an upswing for me. Hoping cutoff remains below 100. But can't stop thinking about it.

I think, yes, they are. Subsidies to private enterprises by government to develop them or grants by government to tech companies to invent something new is an investment. All of them might turn out to be bad.....
Investment is just putting money hoping for gains. Gains might come or might not. Investment is not a loan to be returned....

Subsidies are one way payments. Not really asset creating and can't be considered investment, going by the basics

Waiving off tax in SEZ is a subsidy or an investment? Seeing the little to no gains of Indian SEZs, they should be a subsidy too then?
It depends... What percentage of controversial questions you have in your kitty. I have 6 question.I have not counted them and even deducted .67 too. My clean marks are 95.After all , I will fall positive. even 2 questions get correction... I am a 100 +.Now see vice versa, People dont count clean marks.. They make presumption and assumption to inflate their scores... which lead to wrong cut off predictions as well. So, vice vers ...If someone has 6 controversial question ... and 2 goes wrong he is 5.57 less. .. Below 90.Now , Adam smith ka invisible hand chalega ... sab equilibrium me aayega .. aur cutoff fir 95 se 90 pe aa jaayega.
Let's hope cutoff stays in 90s. That would have been my guess too. It should drop a little compared to last year. Even the easy questions from polity were tricky and people attempted them last which means not a lot of focus and just going with the flow.
