Mains 2019 Preparation and Discussion Thread
Now that 1 week is over, it is time to shift focus to Mains. With barely 103 days left there is no time to waste.
@bevancomthey provide 12 pages per essay..extra sheets maang li kya?
@pysh12950Were'nt there 12 pages both sides 24 pages.Or am Imistaken.Isit 6 pages both sides equivalent to 12 pages or 12 pages both sides equivalent to 24 pages.Must have forgotten nearly 2 months after the exam.
Please clear was it 62(both sides)=12 or 122(both sides)=24

Are you sure about the use of the term 'requisite' here? Remarkably, no relation has yet been made between filling pages and getting less marks. Or more, for that matter.

PS-other than essay and 15 markers,I have'nt filled all pages in any of the questions.
For 10 marks in majority I filled between 1.5-1.75 pages,in 20 markers in optional I filled between 3-3.5(4 pages were given).
I also believe there is no relation between filling pages and getting marks but yeh baat forum peh kuch logon ko pehle samajni chahiye as I saw many people arguing about filling pages even if it means writing irrelevant things
@ChampakInterviews started on 11th of February this year. So almost one month and 20 days after the results. They squeezed the IFoS interviews and results in between. This year too the timeline suggests similar happenings. DAF-II was filled last year too in a way, the service and cadre choices were asked separately in January. This time DAF-II will have hobbies section as well and some new ones maybe if they choose to.
@dancingminionasked for leave after prelims but management didn't provide, so quit.
@bevancombhai ive crossed the word limit in almost all 10 n 15 markers of all the gs paper...
@ShubzHow did you complete the paper? Must be having very fast writing. I could write only 1.5 pages and 2-2.25 pages.

@corrigible_87I write medium-sized letters with 1.5 line spacing. So, at times, even I myself feel that I didn't write enough.
The path to success is never easy, its rough and tough for sure. But, what is guaranteed in the journey is that one day our efforts will bear a fruit, the form of which is difficult for almost all of us to conceive presently.
In this challenging path, this channel would help you gain momentum. It will cheer you up when you are feeling little sad and it will try making you humble when you are too happy to be sane.
The focus of this channel would surely be students giving competitive exams but more so, it will help everyone around to introspect and get motivated.

@AzadHindFauzlast time i had this problem of completing the ppr...iss baar i studied in question ans format so saved time in some questions(6-7) in every ppr which were related to the similar questions which i had prepared...still had to leave a 10 marker from gs1,2....
@visionmanhahah, I think someone mentioned earlier about Shankar saying 9th...so got jittery and made calls. Seems like result would be earlier than expected...sooner the better
