AI me- I started with an anecdote from movie Naya Daur in which new tech(motorcars) were seen with apprehension by bullock cart driving villagers but later they realized benefits of tech of the day..type stuff..

I am horrible with philosophical essays, my practice sessions confirmed that. Took 2 hours to complete first one, AI one found something in my domain, had plenty of bakar abour it

@abhishek_pi have never used stories in my essays.i start with some real data or examples.
In health and education i started with backwardness in both as legacy given by the british and how govt policies were not quite helpful to develop both
In individual good i started with evolution proceeding to environmental determinism and how individual focusses on self gud rather than society
Covered aspects like pollution, dictatorship, Nazis, modern society and deteriorating social ties
Then moved to results if individual gud overtakes society's gud like arab spring and civil unrest.
Quoted indian philosophy of sarve bhavantu sukhin to be the aim
Last year got 132

@Scorpion888in courage one I had few examples from history which I gave and diversified essay by blending climate change and social aspects with it.

In AI, the only report I knew was of ILO future of work, rest govt. schemes, NITI aayog NAIM, AI garage. It divided this essay into impact of AI in primary, secondary and tertiary sectors and scope of upskill and reskill. Did not include Socio-economic-political factors .

@RavsLol I did use some examples as the intro. It's not like I completely avoided it. Mainly because I always have liked starting atleast one essay with historical example. Like for this year I started with king Leopold and his personal greed leading to a destroyed Congo. (For the best for an individual essay)
For AI, there was a hindu article on rising AI. I had mugged up its intro as I felt it was a potential topic.

The major difference was that I kept the intro very short rather than writing a huge story. But now after seeing the comments here... idk whether it was a right move or not.

any guess on cutoff range...after considering all the factors ?
