Filling pages makes a difference, doesn't it ?

@Ravswell i don't know exactly about that filling pages...1st mains...however i did fill all the pages...what worries me is that i wrote answers in a generalist way...cudnt remember textbooks definitions..and cudnt complete one question. This was my way of fucking up.

@sat_009sir,in QAB I had written exam name like CIVIL SERVICES in place of rollnumber in a hurry and later I striked it off to write roll number...and when I asked the invigilator about the issue he said no problem

Since everyone's discussing mistakes, I didn't cross out at the end of the answer in almost half of GS 1 questions. But I didn't even think about that after the exam. Jo Hoga Dekha jaayega

That's not a mistake bro.

Nobody strikes it because nobody does have the time to do that.

Like many people say...is completing all the papers a Must to get an edge?

@atuljii believe yes.

Reason:

Its quite difficult to increase your score in an answer from 5 marks to 7 marks.

But if you attempt a question in which you have very limited knowledge, you can get at least one mark.

I have heard this from 99% of the candidates who have ever cleared this exam.

@RavsBro Content also important .. In Ethics , Good examples matter alot .. Sirf pages bharna hi matter nahi karta .. but yes , agar content bhi achha nahi hai aur likha bhi thoda thoda hi hai , then really it could be a matter of worry ...

@RavsI don't think that's the case. Content matters. In 2017, they first time changed the marking pattern from each 12.5 marks questions to 10 10 markers and 10 15 markers. I didn't notice it in GS-1. So I took my own time in completing 10 markers. Then I saw there were 3 pages for Q 11-20 which were of 15 marks. No way I could've completed the paper if I filled all the pages. So i just addressed demands of the question and wrote 2-2 1/4th pages for 15 markers. For 2 15 markers I wrote barely 1 1/2 pages. Yet ended up with 105 (above avg) in GS-1 and personal highest in all 4 GS papers.
