@abhinav23raj436many people have mentioned a lot of things on forum. Don't know whom to believe.

I am re-posting... it may be helpful for others-

We all are eagerly and anxiously waiting for Mains result, which seems to be playing with our minds.
I asked somebody (IAS today) who has gone through this that neither one is able to study nor enjoy. He suggested me a couple of movies that are entertaining, inspiring and also informative (GS+essay):

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar -

Their rating are good too- 8.7/10 and 8/10 respectively.

This will help us manage unnecessary anxiety.

Waiting for results is turning out to be laborious!
Citizenship Amendment Bill and Hyderabad encounter would probably be a point of discussion this time around in interviews!
Share your views and also what should be said in interview!
Because emotions are different and so is practicality and EI!

2. Will help boost image as a regional leader
But,

1. Judicial tenability, as Art14 applies to both citizens & aliens
2. Concerns about secularism(religion as the basis)
3. Inclusion, exclusion of nations(why not SL Tamils, Nepal, Bhutan)

Hyderabad: 1. Needs thorough investigation
2. If accused attacked & were trying to flee, then retaliation was necessary
But,

1. If not true, it amounts to custodial death(not encounter)
2. Will open a pandora's box with similar demands in different cases
3. Against the established structure of state(sep of powers)

Personal opinion: Against both CAB & encounter

@ManchesterUnitedassuming that the back story for encounter is fake.. it would have been much better if government had established a fast track court mechanism and ensured that death sentence was implemented through that way in fastest possible time.

By resorting to encounter , government has missed an opportunity to establish a system that can deliver justice at faster pace.

While one cannot encounter every rapist.. the above mentioned mechanism can ensure severe punishment to most of them.

PS: the above mentioned view is purely systemic. Frankly speaking, they don't deserve to live.

Let's discuss the whole incidence from alleged rape to murder to arrest to encounter as case studies. Identify different stakeholders, values involved. How far can we justify encounter ?

@Valar_morghulisFast track courts are already there. Nirbhaya case also went through one year fast track court, then higher courts. Issue is with pendency of cases even with fast track system. Judicial accountability is nil. In Unnao case, even rapist easily got bail. Need is for a robust investigation system with police and filling up vacancies in all courts.
