This is an everything thread for all stuff 2022. You can post your daily goals, end-of-the-day updates, weekly targets or any weird thing you use to measure your progress. You can put into words & post the soul-sucking sadness that is threatening to devour you & your productivity. You can write what made your day & let others experience the happiness too, at least vicariously. This is a thread to pick each other up. This is a thread to keep each other accountable. This is a no-judgement zone.

“This is one more piece of advice I have for you: don't get impatient. Even if things are so tangled up you can't do anything, don't get desperate or blow a fuse and start yanking on one particular thread before it's ready to come undone. You have to realize it's going to be a long process and that you'll work on things slowly, one at a time.”

Dear good people of ORN, I was thinking of shifting to ORN from 1st July 2022 for Mains prep in case I clear Prelims. Looking for some pointers to keep in mind and any concerns, suggestions and perceived benefits I should be aware of, or if it is a bad decision overall. Please let me know the basics. I have prepared from home for 2 years but home-based Mains Test Series last year ended up being a matter of procrastination and inadequate work on feedback. Feel free to DM me in case some things are better left unsaid here. Thank you so much! PS: I stay 100 kms (2 hours) drive away from ORN.
Seeing you all after long time. I hope all of you are doing well. Stopped posting targets due to increased anxiety during the last phase of prep. Hoping to write mains 🤞
Targets for 9 June 2021 (Digital record to ensure I don't waste these early days )
1. World History Short notes
2. Modern History short notes
3. Exercise
4. UP PCS - CA
5. Newspaper
6. Handwriting practice
Use Digital Detox & YPT to reach quantifiable study targets 👽

2020 : Scored 106. Didn't qualify CSAT by point something.
2021 : Joined new private job. New guy = more work. Also have to show I'm efficient. Hardly studied anything. Scored 67.
2022 : Scoring 114 from Shankar IAS. Studied 2-3 hours daily since January after my job.
I can't afford leaving my job. Actually don't have much bank balance to survive. Is there anyone who has given Mains while on job?!

Same doubt!
On Tg, they are discussing more of Csat paper than that of PAPER 1. Was it really difficult...i have heard that maths optional guys are too scoring low...is that for real
non comprehension questions were tough and involved lot's of permutations and combinations questions. There was a general consensus that comprehensions are deceptive so it's good to score from maths. But this time the case was reverse and the status quo was altered.
Paper was overall not difficult but the scheme of things got twisted this time that's all.
