The Civils Mains result has been declared. This thread is for sharing your grief , joy , mixed feelings - absolutely anything and everything.
Hello everyone,
any advise Between mgp+ and awfg which course should be joined, keeping in mind i have not done any prior answer writing
If you have content prepared then you may go for awfg.
In awfg you would get time to just revise your notes not prepare them.
In MGP you would have around 5-7 days for the next test hence enough time to prepare notes for the test before taking it.
Any views on the youtube channel Bharata First by Frank Pereira. Watched one or two videos and seemed fairly balanced , like how you are supposed to write in mains
I somehow felt (where govt is in question) it bit biased towards GoI
but again when "some experts" says - have positive attitude towards govt policies, it means - to defend the steps taken by govt
so yes listening BHARATA FIRST can be in your routine
thank you for this
Insights have launched its INSTA 2.0 and 3.0 Plan, integrating mains and prelims and also optional. Looks pretty decent. Thoughts here?
was eagerly waiting for it. I was following their revision plan with daily mcq. Intersting they have posted 2 pdfs one separate for ethics essay. I am thinking to follow plan as they are covering GS topic wise. Minutely prepared each day one optional pyq and ethics.@SergioRamos what's your thoughts? will discuss plan wise doubts.

I also feel same but I think even if I am able to finish 60%, odds will be in favour.
I like the integration of Mains( GS and Optional) and giving some questions regarding topics daily. I have struggled to solve PYQ, Essay and do ethics out of procrastination. Maybe this will be the push.
I believe they have listened to criticism, and reduced some load. But insights being insights, their average load is also a lot for the aspirants. Thinking to go for it.
I will not do their prelims portion from 1st August, but thinking todo their mains portion.

I was following a similar routine myself with ethics, optional and GS with bit of answer writing daily. Doing current affairs magazine on top of that… not too sure I’ll be able to pull that off, but will try.

What do you think about the utility of the plan in general?
Btw, secure 2020-2021 looks daunting, but if we are to read only selected topics, it means 1-2 articles max per month. I think it will be okay. Biggest issue will be ethics and Essay for me. Somehow my mind just does not want to do them.
Wait…they’ve included reading secure in the plan?
Yes. I am planning to skip the magazine portion and just do static and the secure portion they want. A tweak to devote more time to optional! :P
