Yes, I did.
@THE_MECHANIC I made notes from Story of Civilisation (2 books) by Arjun Dev (old NCERT) and also watched some youtube videos
@Aquaman I used Nitin Sangwan's notes

@Chanakya Most likely from the following three : 31/12/2021 to 9/1/2022 OR 7/1/2022 to 16/1/2022 OR 14/1/2022 to 23/1/2022.Worst Case Scenario : They could begin from as early as 17/12/2021 or 24/12/2021.
Source?
@Inselberg As far as i have observed, out of the four GS papers, they seem to inflate one of the papers marks every year(maybe awarding 70% at max for questions where as you said they tend to stick to the 50% yardstick) and deflate one of the other papers marks.Like in 2017, GS3 had high scores while GS4 was marked very conservativelyWhile in 2019, GS4 seems to have been awarded high scores and GS3 conservativelyWhat do you think ?
Was any such pattern visible in CSM 2018 marking
Would love some inputs on this
Yes, deliberate distortion could be the case.
But there is another perspective to it.
GS-3 2019 questions were tough. The examiners only evaluated as per the answer key/guidelines (if they are given anything as such?) provided to them. Most students did not perform enough to attain marks in 40-50% bucket. But some did. There are students who got 100+. I know people who could not make it to the final list but got 110. So, can't say that marks in GS-3 was deflated deliberately for all.
GS-4 questions were quite straightforward in 2019. Most students wrote on the expected lines. The ones who added more value received marks in 50-60-70% bracket.
The basic point is perhaps it is not the examiners who determine which paper will get more marks but the question paper itself.
Anyway, it is only another hypothesis. Hence, unproven. Maybe with scores in 2020, we can become more confident about which of these thesis provides a better explanation.
