Hello everyone , when should we make mains notes before or after prelims ??

as i've done one reading & prelims is approaching i'm in dilemma please help 🙌🏻

and what was your approach for mains note making 😅

It really depends on how your prelims preps. If you’re confident about your pre then you should make at least some notes from mains pov in July. It will be too much work after pre to do everything from scratch (speaking from experience). For a more detailed understanding viz a viz your situation there is video available on the forum YouTube channel about this dilemma

Why is Centre submitting vaccine roadmap to court ? Shouldn't it be submitted and debated in parliament ? Strong/weak parliament is another debate, but shouldn't executive be accountable in parliament first and court later ?

Sometimes, I feel an elite closed group of arm chair experts having 3.5 Crore issues of their own, interpret and indulge in everything as they wish without any accountability. The access to these experts is also costly and you can not even question them, otherwise you will have to pay Rs.1

In a parallel universe, right about now we all would have been leaving after completing the CSAT paper.

In that universe, how would your papers have gone?

Decent, not great though.

This postponement has come as a saviour for me. Was unable to study in Feb and March.

PMF IAS selectively(for the topics I cannot understand or need more elaboration).

NCERTs are the focus!

Guys I have made a wonderful discovery I want to share with you. The Lok Sabha debate archives contain a section on “wit and humour, poetry and couplets” that contain some absolute gems from the 14th LS onwards. Neatly catalogued and tabulated. I wonder which bureaucrat has the enviable job of picking and documenting these!

Boss, but someone had to step in. The Parliament is dominated by the very executive it is expected to hold accountable.  Let's not jump into conclusions. It's the very group of elite experts who first called out the erstwhile vaccination policy as arbitrary and irrational. The court had it's ears better to the ground, pointing out the digital divide in access to the vaccination app.

Yes, the SC had infringed upon policy matters unnecessarily. But in this case, lives of people are at stake. And the SC is not an ordinary law court. It is the guardian of our rights, which does include the right to life.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I randomly search these things in YouTube.

Halaki my favourite one is not here. It was when then PM Manmohan Singh said to Sushma Swaraj(Leader of opposition)

" Manaki teri deedh ke kabil nahin hu mai

Tu mera sabbr toh dekh, mera intezar toh dekh"

It is popular couplet by Allama Iqbal (not sure) which means

I know I don't deserve to see(deedh) you

But look at my patience, my ability to wait.

One can always argue that it was in a different context, but I felt he was clearly flirting openly on the floor of Parliament!( Confidence ka level dekh rahe ho?😂😂)

And that was followed by Sushma Swaraj's "kuch toh majburiyan rahi hongi, yunhi koi bewafa nahi hota"!
