The Civils Mains result has been declared. This thread is for sharing your grief , joy , mixed feelings - absolutely anything and everything.
scathing
The weaponisation of the mandate and the winner-takes-all approach of the Narendra Modi government is unprecedented in many ways. The government must realise that this is taking a larger toll. A matter as serious as the Pegasus revelations must find its way into the House. In its bid to short-circuit Parliament just because it can, the government, as during last week’s raids on Dainik Bhaskar, looks imperious — and insecure.
@Neyawn sir a feedback on environment red book: In the international conventions , though few of them are updated but trivial facts in them are not written. It's inclusion would help in fast revision for eg: CMS / BRS convention tripple cop one , many facts are not written . eg; Basel convention , Countries yet to ratify including India etc
Also in the GHAIS topic too the third item form Kashmir, is not included. I believe the source looks good for prelims but had it be updated in detail , it would be more beneficial .

Anyone willing to remain in touch in these last 70 odd days ?
At home so lacking that peer group pressure.
We can stick to our own schedule , gauge each other's preparedness and ensure that things continue going forward steadily.
I was studying polity ncert and an interesting question came to my mind. Can stag entries not allowed in clubs( club is a public place) be challenged as it discriminates on the basis of gender and a violation of right to equality.
As far as I know, clubs may be public places, but they are privately owned, hence they may make rules as they please.
As the disclaimer goes " We reserve rights to allow entry and permission blah blah blah".
Although I do feel that if someone goes to court with this issue, we might get to see some new perspectives into it...
@sjerngal The article is for public places. It doesn't matter if the place is privately owned.
Gotchaa!!
How is OnlyIAS Udaan for prelims coverage? Any reviews anyone?
I have gone through it. I also watch their daily prelims booster videos, so it is easier for me to go through only ias material.
If there is paucity of time at your end then you can go through it. However, I would also suggest that if you have already made your prelims notes from standards books, so first refer to them and then skim through the UDAAN booklets.
They also have UDAAN500 which contains current affairs from this year onwards. That is short and crisp.
At the end , just stick to the material which you are comfortable with. Dont switch too much in the last moment.
