TVF did not actually attack people with disabilities. You could have said that they did if Abhilash was shown to be a character to be liked. In that scene, the TVF was trying to show that Abhilash is an asshole to attack guri. It's like, if you have watched the office, Michael may say a lot of things which are sexist, or politically incorrect. Here, the writers aren't being sexist or homophobic. The joke is on Michael. We all are laughing at him. The TVF is just showing that people take such cheap shots when they are angry. That doesn't mean they are right. It's just how people behave some time. In another of TVF series "Gullak", the word 'meetha' which is a slang for gay in North India is used multiple times. But TVF isn't endorsing such use of language. They are just showing us things as they are. People talk like that.
I did not like the series but I don't think we can blame TVF for being illiberal or anything like that.
Originally that’s what I thought too, that it was just their way of showing Abhilash being a douchebag! But seeing people here say that Abhilash may actually be a relatable character made me question TVF’s original intent. I would be very happy if they are indeed just holding up a mirror to society. I do wish they’d made it a little clearer by having Abhilash actually show some real remorse for being such an ass.

@Agog since childhood I have never figured out how to respond to the “you’re too young to understand” argument :p what can I possibly say to that!
We are all old enough to be eligible for the exam though, that’s something.
Heard this and hearing this! One is "you are too young to understand" , other is "you haven't seen the world" - told to me someone as old as my father as well as a person just 2 yrs old then me, to prove their point!
I am waiting to get old so that people start understading that I have seen enough world. :\

I guess, Mrunal didn't like "Aspirants". This is what he said in his article published yesterday on his website. "उसी तरह जिस तरह कुछ बाबू शोनो की यूपीएससी क्लियर करने की कैपेसिटी नहीं लेकिन फिर भी दशकों तक दिल्ली में अड्डा जमा कर बैठे रहते हैं कि “मैं यूपीएससी की तैयारी कर रहा हूं.” और आजकल तो वेब सीरीज मैं यूपीएससी तैयारी का ग्लोरिफिकेशन/महिमामंडन देखकर ऐसे लोगों की संख्या और बढ़ सकती है."

Before starting my upsc prep, I had gone to a few coaching centres in ORN to ask about their classes. Since their name was familiar, I went to Byjus also. I made the mistake of giving them my phone number. For the next one month, every single day, they'd call me up asking me to join their tablet course.
Now hearing about the whole WhiteHat Jr fiasco, I'm so glad I dodged the bullet.
