Doubt Clearance Thread: UPSC 2021

Created this thread as a one stop solution for all members so that all the doubts wherein any conceptual clarification is required can be solved here.
For space, I feel UPSC is not focusing on 'smaller' missions like going to Mars and Moon. It's going for more 'exotic' missions like e-LISA which is a Gravitational wave observatory just like LIGO which was asked couple of years ago. So, that maybe narrows down a little bit.What are the important topics for Science & Tech? Please comment what you feel!

@SergioRamos attempt atleast 55, if you want to stay in the race. Speaking from previous experiences, i am from non science background, but lot of questions seems difficult prima facie only, give them a good read and you can easily do 55+ in csat.

@D503 so your method is wrong?
He just used the scale once. You can use the big scale ( 7.5* 6 times= 24 cm) and the small scale (3.25 * 7 times=23.75cm) the difference gives 0.25 basically this is HCF only, much simpler to understand this way.
