Yes, RBI was conceptualised in accordance with the guidelines presented by Dr Ambedkar to the Hilton Young Commission based on his book, The Problem of the Rupee – Its Origin and Its Solution.

In 1934 Hilton Young commission then recommended for Setting up RBI.

Edit: First Finance Commission of India constituted by him in 1951 when he was the Law minister of India.

After the exam, I really really wish to read a worthy book that tells me about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar..
I have huge respect him.
In his short span of life, he has read sooo much and contributed in ways one can only imagine.

Elephanta Island (also called Gharapuri (literally "the city of caves") or Pory Island

But given the input output ratio, it's the only thing that gives me comfort and not anxiety attack..talking about static

Is anyone else in the PaNiK stage yet, because these question and discussions are filling me with more dread and confusion than clarity and confidence. Gonna stick to revising what I know over discovering more of what I don’t know lol
Time to log out I guess.

Static is a friend always! I hope UPSC doesn't become unpredictable this time around :/

It seems like it. Had the same doubt while reading about Caracal.

It is declared critically endangered by NBW under "Recovery programmes for saving critically endangered species and habitats" , the IDWH program. The IUCN is least concern.

@MikeWozniak yes, both are different.
PS : Also if specifically not mentioned IUCN status in the question, and simply asked whether the given species are critically endangered or not, it is generally referred to those under IDWH programme.

Yes it has a separate list. Caracal is in abundance outside India, in middle east and Africa I recall. India me khatra hai!

Here is the list.

Btw, this is a great source for all kind of protected areas and species locations. A great revision tool. Sarkari too. Must check.
