So I just called on the 1st number on UPSC website. The person seemed dumbstruck by my question as to when the mains result will be declared. Gobbled up a reply to say "next week". Starting to think that these guys' answers are as fake as that fake pdf. They have no clue.

Upsc is also like a typical sarkari department reflecting colonial mentality... koi bol dega 15 jan, koi 2 weeks... koi 1 week...

No coherence in their answers..... sidhe bol do bhai ki nhi pata... We work in unplanned and haphazard way...

What it takes upsc to just put a message on its website informing candidates about probable date after delay in Digital India ??????? Insensitive, unprofessional.

Guys from this year no Irts iras n Irps in civil service daf kya ?
I was told that for these three services different exam will be conducted like forest service

@Dreadful-- Macha, even UPSC doesnt know when it would publish the results. So no point in criticizing them. Its not like any other exam where they would face lesser objections. This organization has to face various obstacles from all sides while conducting one of the toughest exams to recruit the cream of the top and still has to maintain the same level of standards . Cut them some slack.
I am sure it is definitely not in their interests to delay and would try to understand the sufferings of the aspirants unlike State PSCs

@visionmanNo one cares about suffering of others in sarkaari daftars. I don't think UPSC is an exception.

Next year onwards. Not from this year. But yes certainly now services priority order may change for few for these services in DAF.

Somewhat courage and some empathy. Just only once in last 5 6 years they tried this sticker thing for pre-information. But then again back to old style. May be some technicalities what we as aspirants can't see ! Stay Hard comrade

how should we prepare optional keeping interview in mind? do they ask direct questions from optional??
