3.New emerging technologies fodder- https://intelligence.weforum.org/topics
Hello! I am attaching the link which has brief overview of different emerging issues like Blockchain, Biotechnology, Fourth Industrial Revolution, Future of Health and Education etc.
They are mostly 2 paragraphs long and gives you mindmap of related issues. E.g. clicking on 5G will lead you to mindmap interlinking 5G with different areas like Security and Critical Infrastructure, regulatory environment, geo-economic and trade impacts etc. clicking on each of those related topics will give brief overview as well.
These are very helpful for Mains especially for Essay in my opinion and you can add them to your notes. They keep on adding new issues. Ignore those topics which are related to a particular country E.g. Argentina, Angola etc.
Hope it helps
@whatonly paid progs for? AW?
Yup. They have some test series for mains. But wanted to know about their evaluation.
@RonWeasley 2017, 18 ka you can find on mrunal. Maybe he also did 2019. Reading answers from Arihant etc is not worth it.
you can try luck on GS Score website too
We(2 people) need 1 more person who have written mains or having good command on basics and giving mains this year.).
Plan : preparation of20 yearsprevious year mains GS(1,2,3)model answers(around 600 topics). If you analyse, 2019 mains you will findmore than 10 questions in each paper, gets repeated in one way or other.
Each member will prepare5 questions per day, 5 days in a week.
The model answers would be ofhigh quality having diagrams, case study, data, committee, article etc.
Additionally, we are preparingcompilationof case study, relevant data topic wise, judgements, committee and diagrams.
So if anyone is interested anddeterminedcan message me his/her number.
All communication on telegram.
PS - I have given 2 interviews . And can help if your optional is sociology (~300 marks in 2017).
Uhm guys, I found the model booklet on the upsc website, but just wanted to confirm - is 2 pages for 150 word questions and 3 for 250 the usual amount of space given in the answer sheet? :p
Regarding the booklet of UPSC
Don't know it affects others or not.
I was giving Vision's test last year. The booklet there had margins on all 4 sides but UPSC had it on 3 sides only(the footer one was missing)
My mind was so prepared that 2 pages will be for 150 words and the same for 250. But During real exam that missing margin probably made me write 15-20 words more in each question. So every 10-12 questions nearly made me pay for a question. So I had to reduce the quality for some questions probably 3-4 in every paper. It can cost you 5-8 marks unknowingly. Total of 30-40 marks.
So just.....

Damn... thanks, I’ll be careful. I’m using one of those massive spiral-bound sheet books. Is the upsc paper A4? Or smaller?
