I have prepared a Model Answer Sheet for Mains - attaching Google Docs and PDF versions.

How do you start a case study?
I do not believe Ethics requires some course like other GS topics. For references, will look up topper copies and model answers/case studies.
It is a double-edged sword, but it is a risk I am willing to take for giving extra time to optional!
Hey can someone pleases post some concise world history notes??I haven't read it before prelims

How do you start a case study?
This is my approach-
1. Bring out the ethical dilemma straightway. Eg: The aforementioned case reflects a conflict between public relations and private relations.
2. Identify the stakeholders- make a table with corresponding values for a comparative analysis or simply hub-spoke model to list them down.
3. Explore each solution keeping in mind the stakeholders. Here, I give special emphasis on:
- Using relevant ethical theories if possible- Like Bentham's conception of happiness of greater number, 7 sins of Gandhi, principles of Buddhism, Jainism etc. whatever suits.
- Using the keywords mentioned in the syllabus: objectivity, integrity etc. etc.
- Using examples from our lives to substantiate a solution. Like- Gandhi chose to sacrifice his private interests for larger good of indentured labourers in South Africa.
4. End on a positive note citing the values I'd uphold in choosing a particular solution/ its spillover effect on family, society, organistion, nation and world. (bottom up approach)
This might seem a bit out of context, but I really want to know.
How's the current situation in Karol bagh/ORN? Are the classes open? Are students taking classes or writing tests in classrooms?
I'm asking this because, I wanted to move to Delhi specifically for writing mains test series, offline. If they are allowing students to write tests in classrooms or opening up lockdown gradually, I will think about moving. But, if the classes are not open, then there is no point in moving.
I will appreciate any little information that you can offer. :)
@whatonly how is lukmaan's essay test series?
I don’t know. Never took any test series before. But heard about them in a few topper reviews and they have above-average scores listed on their website.
