Assuming in states where separate income limits for transgender and senior citizen not given, they are all given aid with no ceiling.

Then transgender option is correct bez that is maximum ceiling limit in any state.

General ceiling of 1 lac is wrong in mizoram, dadra nagar haveli, lakshadeep but Upsc will not consider these minor variation.

Then 1 & 2 are correct as given in keys. Or Q should be discarded which Upsc won't do likely.

In minister question .....read the hindi version....it is given that----koi bhi vyakti jise vote dene ka adhikar ho use minister bana sakte h...........while in english it is genereal statement..a person who is eligible to vote can be made minister

this is just not acceptable...acc to hindi version answer would surely be D but in eng version they have given genereal statement due to which answer could be A.

This discrepancy was highlighted earlier too. As per English version answer has to be A. May be upsc award as marks to both A and D.

Because of the word "can", I am considering this as -ve. I have marked D. But something in me tells me that the a person eligible to vote can be a minister for 6 months..is actually fine. Like see, a minister who has not been elected or nominated is, a citizen of india anyways and has voting rights. The problem here is , a voter can be a minister, ANY voter can't be a minister and ALL voters can't be a minister. 

Yaar this, desher katha, t bill and the deletion of gandhi irwin is like 2.66*4 = 10.67 marks on stake, at the very least.

Last time coachings got btfod in digital signature and ramsar convention and parliament rules , vision included. I can imagine something similar happening this time around too.

No in this question 'D' will be final answer in both case if u read statement in both languages....I am observing tht no one is trying to see article 75 with article 84 both are interrelated...

Article 75 says "A Minister who for any period of six consecutive months is not a member of either House of Parliament shall at the expiration of that period cease to be a Minister."

(see above member of either house....nd nw see below qualification required for a member)

Article 84 says "possesses such other qualifications as may be prescribed in that behalf by or under any law made by Parliament."

(In this 25 years age for LS and 30 for RS is must required)

I think we have researched the answers a lot.Now, playing answers answers game won't be of much help in terms of mental peace to anyone.It has reached equilibrium and UPSC will be the fate decider as always.

My take is 96.67(General)

Yaar har year humlog yahi bolte. Last year digisig 3 wala crowd was silenced, similarly the ramsar crowd. Yeh upsc hai, kuch nahi pata chalta . I mean ffs jagranjosh had one over vision when it came to ramsar last year. 

91, given gandhi irwin is deleted. 93 otherwise.

Raison d etre -

1. Difficult qp so on avg people have 2 questions less in kitty (very similar to 2016 to 17 transition and 2017 to 18 transition). That amounts to 2.67*2 = 5.34 marks

2. Further 1 mark fall in cutoff thanks to abysmal turnouts. 

Round 0.33 mark balanced out by lesser seats

So 98-5.33-1+0.33= 92 as per upsc key

Some random guy on internet- Cut will higher than last year (behind the scenes- I have taken best case scenario and added marks for all doubtful question besides forgot deducting my negative marks for wrong answers )
