Hello All,
The Group usage here is a little cumbersome, so I am creating this thread to make sure that all questions with doubts stay in one place. Can someone push all the doubts and queries here? I will make this an announcement?

see this.It incorporates both grazing as well as detritus food chains as its sub-components. Doesn't it seem to be multidirectional? Moreover it was to be referenced w.r.t comparative unidirectional aspects of food chain as a concept.
Sir in this article , no where it is mentioned that foodweb has multidirection energy flow.
Energy (as a concept ) flows in the direction from lower trophic level to higher trophic level ( in both detritus and grazing food chain)
food web is to depict interconnection of different food chainsand not “multidirection” energy flow . Even in food web energy flow from lower to higher trophic level only
The multi-directional used in the question statement was not pertaining to trophic levels according to me. It was in the other context. "In the food web, energy transfer is possible in all directions whereas in the food chain it is unidirectional." We need to read the whole statement together to understand that the words "all directions" does not imply " energy flow in a single food chain". It is not implying that energy flow can occur from higher trophic levels to lower trophic levels. Rather, it is used to imply the existence of energy flow along different food chains a single organism is a part of.
Mosquitoes sucking human blood is an example of parasitism.
How this is wrong. In explanation it talks about female mosquito but here its not clear.
Pls explain@Disciple
Mosquitoes are not a parasite. They belong to phylum Arthropoda hence they are insects. Parasites are living creatures that need a host for its life cycle. Parasites solely depend upon the host for their survival and live in the body or on the body of the host. Mosquitoes do not drink blood because of their nutritional requirements. If they did so, then male mosquitoes cannot. But only the female ones drinks the blood. Nutritional requirements of mosquito are fulfilled by plant sources. They are not actually parasites because female mosquitoes only need blood to lay eggs. Both the males and females feed on nectar and plant juices and do not rely on blood as a food source.

@Disciple Sir, how should we go about chapter 11 of Shankar on various animals in different schedules of WPA,1972 ... What would we the efficient way to go through this list or should we try to go in it.s entirety ?
Anyone else who has any suggestion regarding this..
@Thinker Test 32 Q33. Snow Leopards are not endemic to India.

For the schedules, you should know what is the exact purpose of the schedule. For example, animals in Schedule I are the most protected animals, so by that logic you can eliminate the options. Plus Schedule VI only contains a list of 6 plants, you need to remember that. I personally do not think it is possible for me to learn all the animals in the schedules, it will be a waste of time.
@Thinker Test 32 Q33. Snow Leopards are not endemic to India.
Yes, you are right. They will probably change the answer because Snow leopards are found in 12 countries—including China, Bhutan, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Russia, and Mongolia.
Test 32, Ques 33: Statement 1 says endemic to those places. Doesn't it mean that it is not found anywhere else which is not the case as it is found in central Asia as well.
Or is the statement talking only about regions in India where its population is found. Can you please clarify?
They will probably change the answer. Even I marked it B. Because they are found in other countries as well.
Am I the only one who feels that there has been sudden skyrocketing in the performance of candidates in online mode?
No, you are NOT the only one. I also think the same. I just saw the rank lists before and after online mode and there are visible changes. People who were performing good earlier are now doing average and vice versa. But this may also be due to the change in subjects in which some are good and some are average.
@Neyawn Are people using unfair means? Looks like they are. But can you make guesses about how much??
We aren't able to analyze our performance relatively.
Also, while the world stands still, SFG goes on. Lots of love and respect for the team.

Mickey and@tuckerbudzyn Aim for the category of good performance and not the top performance.
It feels bad when people use unfair means. Sometimes I think we should develop a desktop app that takes screenshots randomly to ensure people do not use unfair means.
try for the two categories Good Performance and Above Average performance - among the top ranks . That is a safe zone. I am saying it because I have some people there whom I know will make it. So it helps in benchmarking in the tests.

@Neyawn Can a consistent performance in the 2 categories - Good and Above average make us clear prelims?
@mickeyviru I don't think so mate. SFG is just another test series and I don't think even forum guys have had that good of a clearance rate. I mean leave the good and above-average performance, even the top performers are not guaranteed to clear prelims. So yeah SFG may help you figure where you need to focus or not, but your performance definitely does not tell if you are going to clear prelims.

No, but working endlessly till prelims despite this performance can.
There is no benchmark like if you reach there you will clear prelims. It is just the beginning of hard work which has to be continued till the exam.
I remember when I was going for 2019 prelims, my father was riding scooty and I was scrolling through schemes in the whole ride sitting behind, the Maternity Benefit act was there. And in the exam, it came. Although It could have been solved by common sense but you can imagine the level of confidence I gained in the end moment. So many things are there, I guess do whatever duty is on your part for prelims till the end.
