Official: SFG / RLG All Tests Discussions in one place

Hello All,

The Group usage here is a little cumbersome, so I am creating this thread to make sure that all questions with doubts stay in one place. Can someone push all the doubts and queries here? I will make this an announcement?

@Anshhhh yes this is a wrong statement since they are entitled to vote in VP election.. that's why the answer is (1 and 3 only).

With reference to chief whip of GoI..

Since the system is synchronous with British system of whips.. Minister of parliamentary affairs is the chief whip of the Government.

I understand your point but, how can i agree with it if it is nowhere mentioned specifically that "Chief Whip of GoI is always the MoParliamentary Affairs"

The Link which you have provided says - "The Minister alsokeeps close and constantcontactwith thepresiding officers, the leaders as well as chief whips and whips of various parties and groups in both the Houses of Parliament"

Also,(https://pib.gov.in/newsite/PrintRelease.aspx?relid=110461) says - "Chief Whips and Whips from across the countryandMinisters of Parliamentary Affairs Ministers will deliberate .."

W.r.t Question no 21 of test no 9 statement 2

The statement "SWAYATT is an initiative to promote MSMEs,women and young entrepreneurs through e-transactions on the Government e-Marketplace" is marked as correct.

Whereas according to various sources it is

"SWAYATT is an initiative to promote Start-ups, Women and Youth Advantage Through eTransactions on Government e Marketplace (GeM)."

https://pib.gov.in/newsite/PrintRelease.aspx?relid=188740

Note that MSMEs are not explicitly mentioned in the objective of this scheme. It is rather "Startups" which would be the focus.

MSME though finds a mention in the article but it is only w.r.t speech given by the minister in the event.

Regarding Question 14. Test 8

I couldnt find any mention that Chief Whip of GoI is Minister Parliamentary affairs either in the book or on the internet. Can someone pls explain  !!

Didnt the government appoint Anurag Thakur as the Chief Whip ? and he is/was not the minister parliamentary affairs.

@root

Not aware of this debate / question. Anurag Thakur is a Minister BTW

https://rajyasabha.nic.in/rsnew/practice_procedure/oppo.asp#WH plz search in this document of Rajya Sabha. It is clearly mentioned the The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs is the Chief Whip of Government.

Test 9 Q15

An amendment to the constitution of India cannot be called into question by SC of India.

How this is wrong

@Thinker Thanks :)

@vnatheking  Because it can be called into question by SC. For eg. 99th CAA of NJAC was struck down by SC. Hence the statement is wrong. SC has the authority to judicial review CAA.

The above link mentions SWAYATT is to promote MSME.

Due to misinterpretation and confusion created, it would be better to cancel Question 21, Test 9

Question no 38 Test 10

Option 1 says MPLADS is a centrally sponsored scheme.

PIB mentions it as Central Sector Scheme.

Check last paragraph here.

And second statement is incorrect too.

Also there are different sources some mention it as CSS while others mention it as Central sector scheme.
