Which is the best pen for UPSC Mains?

In terms of comfort while writing for long periods, a non-interrupting ink, glide over the paper, water resistance etc.

What's wrong with V5 except these two shortcomings?

1. Delicate nib - breaks often, specially for people with tight grip.

2. Not waterproof.

V5 being not waterproof is the biggest drawback of that pen for me.

What if I spill water on the sheets by mistake?

What if the invigilators spill water on the sheets by mistake?

What if the paper checker spills water on the sheets by mistake?

Can't risk years of preparation just because the pen wasn't waterproof.

P. S: This is just a personal opinion. I'm usually quite optimistic , but this is TOO RISKY..

Had never considered this angle. Looks like I might need to look at some waterproof pens. Any suggestions?

Obviously you are kidding,  probability of two people interacting and clearing pre and ending up on adjacent seat is definitely less than either of us clearing it. :P

All my recent experiments but I still can’t find the one

Did you try experiments with truth?

To all those peeps saying V5 is not waterproof, ever since V5 came out with a cartridge system just like V7, they use the same cartridge. So, V5 now has the V7's waterproof ink.

If you do not wash your sheets, it should be just fine.

But don't trust a random stranger on the internet, try it. :)

Try framing better examples of probability, it will help in ethics 😅

It's better to focus on things that WILL happen. With some pens your handwriting WILL be shabby. Thin pens WILL make your fingers hurt after 3 hours of intense writing. What you are talking about is not at all risky. I don't think these things have ever happened to anyone.

Probability of me getting along with people in real life ?

Rorito Gel!
5.8k views

For me, the search for perfect pen had ended last year after I tried

Rorito Trimax and

Hauser Tech 5

These 2 are the most reliable and comfortable for me. Never faced any issue except 1 Trimax leaked out of 10 pens that I bought.

Since then I have never looked at any other pen :)

Do any of you remember the HIMYM episode when they're looking for the best burger in New York? If one more person tries to tell me the best pen is Trimax or Rorito imma lose my mind!

The best pen is what works for you. Some are lucky and a 5 rupee ball pen or Trimax works for them. Some are not and they spend 1000s of rupees trying out different pens just to find a pen that they're comfortable with. Just try and be a little sensitive to the situation of others.

TL;DR Everyone has tried Rorito/Trimax. Stop suggesting it again and again.

Good friends of forum, after countless hours of YouTube pen reviews (that is a thing, I just learnt as well), I have found the hauser crystal gel. I just got it, so like all things new, the excitement of being owned by a person is motivating my pen to work really well. Let’s see how long this relationship lasts as well as how we weather the “middle period”. Will we be a success or simply a “middling” relationship? Shall keep you guys posted

I went to a stationary shop and physically bought it. I literally was waiting for lockdown to be lifted to do so. I felt like a regular human being after a really long time.
