[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021

Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

@neyawn sir and others, what is your take?

This is the official Thread for discussion of Prelims Postponement, Please do not create new threads for the same.

@Vickoo_Matre modafinil will keep you awake and alert whole day no matter how much you are sleep deprived but take it after consulting with your doctor. Though it doesn't have major side effects.

Which compilation is better for covering government schemes? Vision's, shankar's or some other?

Isko lene ke bad desh ka gdp gir jata hai.

if redbull doesn't work for you then go for pre-workout (500mg caffeine per scoop)

A small question.

I had an ACL knee surgery few weeks back and doc has advised to not climb many stairs as well as to keep the leg on some kind of support while sitting (cant sit with bent legs for 2 hrs straight). Should I mail UPSC for the same so that there is no hastle on the exam day in the centre?

How to go about in such cases?

Bhai a senior once told me a very wise thing.

"Agar is exam ko dene k liye aisi medicines (like Modafinil) lena pade na to fir better hai life me kuch aur kar lo."

Redbull would be more than enough. Coffee alone would help a lot. Dawai ka chakkar galat hai bhai.

One of my classmate from college was hooked on Seridon. And when Govt banned that tablets, he bought like 200 pills.

That sight was miserable, it was a simple medicine for headache but other medicines didn't worked on him. Similarly there's lot of side-effects of every pill but lobbying gets it all covered.

Guys one help and sorry if it's very off-topic. I am bad at travelling and giving exams (especially after half-sleep the very next day). Any solution for that? Red Bull, dark chocolates, meditation what worked for you.(My exam center is at 130 km from my home)

@balwintejas regarding the traveling part, have a relative staying near OTA Gaya (city area is 10 min drive from here). You can stay for the night here before the exam if you like. Let me know if this works for you.

@capricornape I am not recommended it to be used without consulting the doctor. It's actually a pill for someone with hyper sleepiness but being misused by many in the name of cognitive enhancing drug. There was a dedicated thread on old forum just for this pill, where many were actually using it. By the way it's very difficult to get it without doctors prescription.

Such a lovely gesture. During times such as these, where  neighbors treat  you like shit and give death stares, this little gesture is such a great sight for sore eyes. Tum Accha insaan hai juggernaut bhai. Mast kaam karta hai🙏

Ok this is really some out of the box help brother! Never expected of such a nice gesture.

Though I would travel anyhow considering the situation is not good due to CoVID19 situation and so won't risk your family. Thanks again brother. People like you are rare. :)

Fun and Information Post #3

For Mekong Ganga countries , Imagine theChampions League(football or t20) being telecasted onMTV.

SoMekong Ganga=CL on MTV = cambodia, laos, Myanmar, thailand and Vietnam(and of course India)

Tiger Range Countries=BBIN + Mekong Ganga + MC Russia  + Indonesia = 13 countries

You know BBIN and Mekong Ganga . Then we haveMalaysia, china, Russia and Indonesia

Snow leopard countries = BhuNAhua Shanghai MangalRahe

(weirder the association, more the fun and better the retention)

Bhutan + Nepal + Afghanistan+SCO (8 countries)+Mongolia = 12 countries

Ok bye !
