[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021

Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

@neyawn sir and others, what is your take?

This is the official Thread for discussion of Prelims Postponement, Please do not create new threads for the same.

What about emergency articles than as they mandate parliament to meet twice in a year as due to 6 months clause.
Also .. what about election must be conducted in 6 months clause.

I believe .. Instead of reading each article in isolation as coaching wallah do. This is not so. Evem Supreme court read and connect two or three articles bring a balanced output. Because, In law .. There could not be two truths.
If it is not mandatory for parliament to sit twice , How election in 6 month clause and emergency clause will operate.

So, Yes .. I indeed ... You If we read EC la 6 month election waala clause , Budget clause and emergency clause - Constitution by reference provide that parliament must meet so and so forth.

Kal ko koi PIL kare SC me is baat par ... Do you think SC ignore associative reading of other related articles related to parliament sittings as required for ordinance passing and all other works.

I think this question was pretty common sensical, given how sirisena claimed how India was trying to kill him and then the while Rajapaksa brothers’ issue. Things were definitely not good between Delhi and Colombo. 😂

Also, if anyone could tell me what would be better for mains, Dipin Sir’s classes or Mains 365 classes. It would be a great help.

Hello everyone, posting here after a long hiatus. Which answer keys are more reliable this year? I checked from forum's and topper's, scoring 114.67 from both. Although the same can't be said for Byzu's or G's score wale answer keys. Byzu's in particular seems to have many glaring error imo. Which answer keys did you people find good?

@gauravbrly409  Bhai isme bhi to dikh rha ki trade consistently grow nahi kiya hai from 2014-15 to 16-17 there is perceptible decline in trade. Observe that imports are more or less same but exports have declined.

Apart from rukmabhai and that "trade and CAD one"(depending on interpretation of presently) nothing will change.

In UPSC everywhere you see the word consistently, steadily, every year, all the years, you just strike it off. That has how it has always been since 2017. We can go into the semantics of it but it never changes.

Check this link .

It is from High commission of India to colombo. Updated till april 2020.
In 2013 there is dip and 2017 there is little high. So .. It makes that statement wrong though. Now ... Its all about UPSC.. How they see it.

Go to Bilateral trade section , There is a table which have yearwise data since 2000. It is consistently increasing. Now
Its up to you to believe EXIM data or HCI to colombo data.Ok dude.

@Qoqo  I am doing Dipin sir's classes. If you want value addition and are thorough with basics please go for dipin sir. His coverage may be less but what he teaches is extremely relevant and you will get 360 degree coverage of any topic. It will benefit you in essay too.

@rafael It can be argued that Parliament has to meet two times in a year because of the maximum gap of 6 months between 2 sessions. So 2 days are the minimum number of days, though not directly mentioned in the constitution but it is implied. That's why the question is dubious. It will be interesting to see what will be the official answer. Probably due to questions like these the answer key is released after the whole process, haha.

We tend to think too much as we r all desperate fr marks ...  upsc just go for verbatism . They take up qus from previous 3 yr indian express hindu nd down to earth
