Recovery from crypto losses be like ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
It’s honestly ridiculous…this whole market manipulation.
First, Tesla pushes the price of bitcoins up significantly investing in it, and announcing it would accept it as payment. Then they sold 10% of its BTC share over a 100mn profit. Fast word this week, he disses bitcoin and says won’t accept it anymore as a payment, causing price to plummet. Probably, only to shore up more capital by buying it in loads now?
How convenient. I mean crypto speculators aren’t cool either. But this guy is just a symbol of recklessness now.
thanks , will watch it before buying the bookThere’s also a 13 part series from the 80s corresponding to 13 chapters of the book, presented by Sagan himself. It’s available on YT.

@Villanelle he isn't reckless, society is.If people are stupid enough to invest their life savings on a tweet of a person, they seriously need to be more rational.I agree, musk is also the part of the problem. Hurting those who're investing in crypto as a serious avenue. But to point the fault on one person is a bit immature. It's the society of it's flawed nature allowing him to influence them.
He’s pretty reckless otherwise also. This is not the first time he has misled people.
Even if we keep stocks entirely out of conversation, he was spreading outright fake information about covid, suggesting doctors are inflating cases for a financial reason. His laughable stand on the covid restrictions, and so many more things.
» show previous quotes» show previous quotes stock prices bhi toh up down krta hai ye, he is weaponising his influence and reach on social media and exploiting his cult status just like all cult leaders do.and how he pushed those memecoin, posting everyday on his timeline like an overzealous salesman.
I'm questioning exactly the basis of moral authority he must have according to you. It's up to the people to get influenced by elon musk, not the other way around. He is not having the magic wand to get people influenced.
I personally feel celebrities shouldn't be put to higher moral scrutiny. They opinion and views must be treated on the same level as a street passer-by.
I know you'll say what about politicians/policymakers. They're not the same, they've authority over the public.
Hello folks,I had taken an optional( Mathematics ) purely based on interest. My feel, had been, since it encompass topics taught in bachelors/masters, depth needs to be covered.Over the time, 3 mains after, i feel i have digressed from my initial belief. I have solved past year questions, solved whatever standard preparation is required. Questions were fairly straightforward in past years, hence, i never had any doubt on my preparation. But as UPSC has it, it constantly pushes its limits - setting questions from unasked regions, tricky ones, beyond standard books. That's when i realised, that i have learnt to solve questions, but i have not understood the basics behind it.Following the topper's guide, i believe, gave me enough idea/methods to solve a problem. But i miss the mental picture of the concepts, the intuitions behind concepts. My faults are re-inforced when i tried to solve various questions from university / entrance exam papers related to a topic.Given, the cyclic process of this exam, i have scanty time left to clear my concepts. I am really in a fix whether to stick or leave this optional. Now, is it only me or folks( with other optionals ) too face such dilemma ? If yes, how do you plan to cope with it ? If no, do you think, i am overthinking and needs to switch optional ?
Are you from IIT / NIT?
Hello comrades,
Plz have some opinion on following about mains test series form now to Prelims
1)Going for full length 3 hr tests every weekend
2) 1 HRS OR 1.5 HRS tests every week end
3)1 hr test alternate day
Please guide friends with reasons and suggest which institute test series.
If you have completed syllabus go for it. If you have not made notes or completed, try answer writing focus group. It is very useful. Personally I felt I was able to hit at least 11-12 questions from it this Mains.
Go for MGP. I have done it twice and not regretted it, though I found vision answers better while forum questions were better.
