I have seen people with a bit of limited knowledge getting in and some amazing, really hardworking people missing out on the interview call. What did you learn? What would you advise others?
@NadigVinaythis job hunt of mine was during September-november of 2017
@Ithriveoncocaine
I have received the brochure from the institute wherein they have detailed about the entire module eg, dates, topics, etc etc.
Those who want to have a look of it, kindly message me with something via which I can share it with you like WhatsApp number, TG ID or e-mail ID. Thanks!
@eurydiceI had written 3 full length tests from each of gs papers ie atleast 12 FLTs and 10-12 optional FLTs,so I had gained so much speed plus for every topic that you encounter commonly like vulnerability,UNESCO,RPA 1951,I didnt need time to think as I was ready with IBC for them,all I needed to do was mould it to the demand of the question
So not only I was able to complete the paper but also with 5 mins on clock!
When I say completing paper it not only is speed but speed with quality too!
@ManchesterUnitedso one of the indispensable thing to complete gs paper is u have to be ready with IBC of every keyword in syllabus,nd other major issue of current affairs?
@AzadHindFauzintro body conclusion
@RaillifeSyllabus should be thoroughly memorised and for every phrase or subheading in syllabus I had 100-120 words of content ready
For that CA can be added from time to time!
IBC may not necessarily be prepared beforehand,but the fodder material enables you to frame one!
@ManchesterUnitedOnce you get through, kindly share your short notes if possible or some samples on how to prepare these.
@walterwhit3Sir I scored 120-130 in pre mocks, still failed. So be cautious
@Phoenix0392Bro PSIR is very HEAVY, stay away from it for wise ! But if you are interested in PolitiK, come for it.

@AdmgenalanezhMy bad.
I meant that score of 95 to 100 in the mains test series.
@ManchesterUnitedIt would be of immense help if you could either show your short notes that helped you in answering RPA, UNESCO or can you elaborate upon this aspect as to how general content can be prepared so as to mould it as per the demands of the question ?
P. S : Congratulations on clearing Mains. We all strongly wish to see your name in the final list

Okay guys I have a question! It’s know it’s ridiculous but still. Do people who clear this exam in the first attempt with a good rank inherently smarter than those who clear in the third/fourth later attempts? Like comparing Tina Dabi and Kanishk Katariya (first attempts) with Anudeep Durishetty (fifth attempt).
@Sankozagiven the subjective nature of this exam wouldn't deriving an objective conclusion about intelligence be a violation of the process?
@walterwhit3It is subjective but it’s not so subjective that no comparison is possible, is it?

This literally holds true, I had some concerns regarding prelims prep so I met Suraj Patel when he delivered one of the how to lecture at vision orn. But despite implementing everything I missed this year prelims (I know some of my drawbacks and working on it right now but still clueless on what to change in my approach this time coz he cleared everything and got service 3-4 times straight with the same strategy he shares)
