Post mains results, what would be your strategy?

I have seen people with a bit of limited knowledge getting in and some amazing, really hardworking people missing out on the interview call. What did you learn? What would you advise others?

@SankozaWell, we can make make a conclusion about aligning their preparation with the exam. Those who do it in the first attempt clearly have better-aligned preparation than those who do not make it to the list. But that's where conclusions would end.

Hi,

Can you please suggest if there is a ForumIAS or any other group where I can find the job openings for people who qualified Mains (2017, 2018) and failed in interview.

There were openings from Sports Authority of India. Are there more? If yes, is there a group discussing about these?

@ManchesterUnitedCongrats on clearing mains ! I am attempting Vision sectional tests and struggling with speed. In the very first test I gave, I could attempt only 14 questions and now, even after attempting 8 tests, I am stuck at 16 questions with score hovering in 70s. Any suggestion will be immensely helpful !

@exmanTry writing continuously for 3-4 hours at maximum possible speed while copying from a book. Repeat this exercise twice every week. Your writing speed with improve.
However if you face delay in thinking about content, try writing 5 GS answers everyday. Insights daily answer writing is good.
