[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021
Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

EWS is the greatest scam in recent times. "Reservations effect merit" wale log dikh nahin rhe aaj kal....what hypocrites.
Reservation itself is a big scam especially OBC reservations. Purely political. Anyways general cat has no option but to top in any exam ie come in top 30% since no UR seats are reserved.

Ews quota ko 50percent wali limit main lao..atleast 50 percent to ho generals ko fight krne k liye
General ko koi 50% nahi tha EWS k pehle bhi they have 0 seats exclusive to them. Eventually in coming years there will be a time when majority if not all seats are taken by those who are already reserved in the 60% quota buckets since your 40%UR seats are open to all and when reserved players clear gen cutoff they have first right to UR seat. So that will be the endgame of general category and reservations. When it happens is a matter of time.
The whole reservation issue is complex, politically motivated(now a days) and debatable..... But one thing is very clear-----
1--- As a poor dalit, obc, tribal student is unable to match a upper caste rich student then he/she is equally unable to compete with a rich person of his/her community too.....
2---Generalisation is anti equality..... Thinking all uper caste people as rich, privileged etc is wrong and considering all SC, ST's as marginalised is also wrong.
I think, a well educated man like equality, progress of nation etc BUT how it will possible if a poor reserved class person remain poor as their own community members eating their share(many candidates got selected in reserved categories for 5/6 posts as they have such level in competitive exams.....

What is reservation based on ?
Is it affirmative action to uplift the poor ? : No , its then schemes and other assistance would be enough.
Then why is reservation implemented ? Aren't lower caste people poor?
Answer: To understand reservation , we should understand caste system . Caste system is a socio - economic political system . This multi dimensional system has lead to multi dimensional deprivation in social , economic and political status of the people who are considered to be in lower hierarchy of the system. This has led to these communities to be ostracized socially , economically and politically.
The repercussions of this system has both psychological results such as caste discrimination ...etc , and physical results such as certain caste members live in bad parts of villages , most Indian village's residential setup is segregated on caste basis.
So thats y reservation was devised , to give bump to the people who were deprived of the social , economical and political aspects.
People generally compare economic status to social status or even political status to social status.
I have know an ias officer who was discriminated by his subordinates when he was posted as sdm due to he belonging to SC.
here if you see even though he has reached a good position his social status according to to the society is lower.
Ews : Everyone vulnerable should be given a hand . but the thing is there are different levels of vulnerability and there are different causes of this vulnerability . Reservation according to indian constitution is for people who are socially , economically , educationally and politically disadvantaged due to the practice of caste system that lasted 1500-2000 years.
All poor people should be given a helping hand so ews should be given other government aids so that they are uplifted.
All that being said Reservation is not the best system , but the root cause is the attitudeal sickness of caste system that is in our society . Since our society is not ideal , to have justice we have a not so ideal system called reservation which is the best we can do as of now .

Most of the institutes were predicting cut off to be more than 100, some even said 103-104

Clear ias is the stupidest site ive come across in this game of cutoff prediction,they base their cutoffs on some absurd methodology which is technically incorrect

this is the reality we aspirants are made to wait for the sake of covid spread measures and others keep outing .this is the real scenario of mumbai. directly watch at 4.10 mnts. i just want to express that when everything is running with ease why not exams with standard SOP.
may 31st was better than oct 4th
oct 4th will be better than dec 31st
dec 31st will be better than march 2021
til mid of 2021 we wont get everyone vaccinated that too without proper vaccines
