@whatonly I really wouldn’t have a problem but I would still prefer to stick to the principle of ‘free speech’. I mean, let’s breathe for a second and look at what he generally says:
on any mental health thread he makes snarky comments. While uncomfortable, comments like ‘is this a therapy platform’ and the others on mental health he’s made shouldn’t actually affect anyone when there’s so much support pouring in otherwise.

His comments around the issue of reservation are bad but again some people are genuinely hard done by this whole system. While banning for this really appeals to me too (not lying here) but I have a very keen interest in observing social media and this never changes anything. You’ll only temporarily provide relief to a few people while there’s a proper chance that the person might internalise hate more and if he’s in a position to, his solidified beliefs could do genuine harm. I know it’s a stretch but right now my mind is very foggy and I just hope I’ve correctly said what I wanted to. I’m always hopeful that people can change and who knows prolonged exposure to well meaning discussions here might actually change a few of his opinions.

I’d type more but I feel I’ve already wasted a lot of time 😅

In the end it’s just opinions, and in my humble one, sitewide bans aren’t good, personal ones are.

Caste is a reality bro, just like caste certificate is.

Let it be.

@Patootie I’d be lying if I said I didn’t dream of having this on our college as well. It did eventually happen but only when I graduated.

However we had the luxury of late night football sessions on a skating rink so I’m not really complaining. The best of times!

@Patootie sorry off topic ain't you sleep at 10 or get up at 4 I have read one of your comment didn't you find difficulty at 4 o clock and is 6 hour sleep you find sufficient ??? I also wanna do same

Nah, I have been forced to be off that schedule this past week. Work has been really busy. So, I got done quite late and I had to stay up. Need to get back to that schedule from this weekend onwards.

Once you get used to the schedule of 6 hours, it’s not hard. Initial 2 weeks, it’s quite hard but if you are on a streak, it works like a charm. I actually look forward to waking up really early.

@AzadHindFauz I just felt people here are too busy and they study too much, football clips would just be an added distraction. Just last week the Daily Routine thread people were going absolutely berserk!

I do have some goosebump inducing compilations saved though, even if Arsenal almost never feature in them I think you’ll like them :P

Everyone, how about we share the things that make the days we feel down, a little bit better?

WHAT DO YOU GUYS DO TO CHEER UP WHEN YOU FEEL SAD?

I write, either poetry or for my journal. Otherwise I like to read, binge on wholesome shows and listen to The King, Miles Davis!

Have been going through something more serious so I've reinstalled Instagram after 2 years just to feel normal again. Got to delete it before I become an addict again haha!

With poetry, I am only able to do it when I feel strongly about something. If you are in that headspace, you just need to start writing. It flows naturally. I personally feel that to be able to write, we also need to be avid readers of poetry.

Maintaining a journal is tough work, haven't been able to do it regularly enough. I go there when I need to vent out. I'd really recommend reading 'Atomic Habits', this book did help discipline my habits for a long while (although I've gone astray again :P).

Don't worry about disturbing people. I'm confident football comes before Civil Services Prep for most of us who are on that thread.

I never visit the Daily Routine thread. Those posts are intimidating. If I start counting the number of hours I put in on a daily basis, I'd be depressed for at least 15 days every month! :p
