Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

I am not able to understand as to why is Karnataka government hell bent on conducting the examination? If majority of the students are opposing it, then the govt should,politically speaking,simply pay heed to it.
Or is it just a minority who want the exam to be postponed?
So that private colleges can secure admission and fill up their coffers before JEE and other national exams. Money once spent cannot be returned even if the candidate is selected for IIT and other colleges.

By the looks of it SC won't stay anymore exams also. Govt is hellbent on taking exams and restarting economy. People are left on their own basically.

The point is no one is asking to stop the exams in our case. Its just basic: those who want to write the exam let them write. those who do not want to write the exam: let them. Don't slap consequences on decisions taken during a pandemic year.

UPSC changed the date of Engineering Services (Main) Examination from 9/8/2020 to 18/10/2020 on 2nd July. That's about 5 weeks in advance. We would get to know UPSC's intentions by mid-August for sure.
