[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021
Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

@Neyawn Sir, I was part of SFG Feb batch and i found it highly relevant for my preparations. I am going to enroll for SFG 2.0 as well and i feel it would be really helpful if more clarity about the programme can be provided.https://blog.forumias.com/sfg-2-0-2-july-2020/ - the blog post gives an overview but i think it will be of great help if the schedule or how many tests per subject or till when the tests will run and other such details can also be provided.One more unsolicited suggestion, Sir - I don.t really understand the logic of having SFG and RLG segregation in the online tests. As we saw in the Feb SFG batch, the top ranks during the offline tests and then post-lockdown-online tests were quite different, implying some students were definitely using unfair means. Offcourse there maybe many other reasons, and the cheating students are only harming their own preparations, yet don.t you think it makes the top 100 SFG segregation useless ? More so when everyone is getting the solutions. As during the offline tests the incentive was to perform good and get into SFG and pay less and attend discussions. Why not have an average equal payscale for everyone?Also what purpose does the selection test serve when people can cheat ?I am sure these things administration would have taken into consideration while formulating the programme and i will understand if you don.t want to answer. But please provide the schedule. Thank you.

I may or may not be able to reply all the time, sometimes because I don't have anything to say, but also sometimes because making any changes to an existing system invites another flurry of emails questioning why things change.
To be honest, We are aware that people will use unfair means, and which is why we didn't want to do it in the first place. And then I have this SFG Last year's student who is appearing for her 1st Interview after clearing prelims first time in 5 years ( You will see her name in final list this year itself ), and wanted us to do SFG.
We are working on how we can ensure that the test has a component such that having the Internet before you offers no advantage. Something like having a subjective component. Also, we are thinking of not having an RLG in this SFG 2 and may take only 100 kids. That way we will be able to focus better.
I used to write some good emails every week, but someone here on the forum made some personal attacks, and it kinda made me withdraw from writing to you guys - something that we did very well in the first year of SFG.
The schedule will be out in 3-4 days time, and will begin with Polity and Economy / History, and you will have an official confirmation soon on that.
I have taken some of the suggestions from this thread and there could be some changes to the schedule, which is why it is not published yet. You can broadly refer to previous SFG to get an idea. Also SFG will not commence from July 1, but from 15th or 25th. You will have an update soon.

@cot_ainok Also, any changes that we make to an existing system, no matter how small it is, it has it its own set of supporters and opponents, and we get mails from both blocks, so it becomes difficult to bring changes.
There are so many suggestions that sometimes we feel we do the test writing part and let the students run the academy :P
Which is why if you don't see any response its because sometimes, we decide to stick with one mind one plan. Hope you understand :)

And sir if possible, please please write to us. I used to get so much motivated by your emails. Since the weather conditions in dec last year were challenging. But your mails really encouraged me to study better and persevere. I remember you shared attempting the test just as a ritual isn't perseverance but to really prepare well and giving the tests in the scheduled time. Making progress each day matters. Sir please if possible, write to us, it really motivates most of us.

Yes sir im still staying in ORN(1st block,it is safe till now).
Will stay here for complete cycle(pre to interview).

Few blocks of ORN have been declared as containment zone after 39 NEW cases were detected in single day on 18 june. Police zipsy with mic announcements roaming here round the clOck.....

How come so many cases all of a sudden? Must be spread through dairy Shop or juice shop or tiffin service .
