First National Judicial Pay Commission

It was constituted in 1996, pursuant to the order of the Supreme Court of India in the All India Judges Association case.
It was headed by Justice K. Jagannatha Shetty, former Judge of the Supreme Court.
It was also referred to as the Justice Shetty Commission.
