Explanation – The Vigyan Dhara Scheme is a unified central sector scheme approved by the Union Cabinet, which merges three existing umbrella schemes under the Department of Science and Technology (DST). The scheme aims to enhance the Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) ecosystem in India by focusing on three main components: Science and Technology Institutional and Human Capacity Building, Research and Development, and Innovation, Technology Development, and Deployment.
