Causality refers to the idea that one event, behavior, or belief will result in the occurrence of another subsequent event, behavior, or belief. In other words, it is about cause and effect.
A causal relationship exists when one variable in a data set has a direct influence on another variable. Thus, one event triggers the occurrence of another event. A causal relationship is also referred to as cause and effect.
If there is a causal relationship between two things, one thing is responsible for causing the other thing.
