National Database of Unorganized Workers
About: National Database for the unorganized workers is a comprehensive Aadhaar seeded centralized database for over 40 crore unorganized workers. This portal will be utilized to deliver various social security and welfare schemes being implemented by the different Ministries/ Departments of the Central and State Governments.
Ministry involved: The Ministry of Labour & Employment has envisaged development of a ‘National Database of Unorganized Workers’ (NDUW) seeded with Aadhaar. The project will enrol all unorganized workers, including migrant workers.
