changing nature of India’s foreign policy.
Ans:In the recent years when the
world is moving away from the globalization countries are relying on
multilateral group. The same way India’s foreign police focusing on
multilateralism.
Indo-pacific: To counter China’s
aggressive stance India is focusing on Quad, the three remaining countries are
USA, Japan and Australia. Malabar exercise with USA and Japan with focus on
establish peace and security in Indo-pacific region.
India with japan is trying to
make a plan for Asia-Africa connectivity to counter China’s OROB.
South-East Asia: Improve the
relation with ASEAN member with improving Act East policy from Look East. It
will also solve the connectivity issue of North East region. Connectivity
program with Myanmar will improve connectivity with NE.
India-Russia: trying to develop
a mechanism for payment to escape USA’s CAATSA Act for S-400 deal and many
others.
West Asia: Good diplomatic relation
with all Arab country to secure or energy need and cooperate with UAE and Saudi
Arabia for strategic oil reserve.
Iran: India currently minimize
its oil import from Iran due to USA pressure. Developing Chhabar port to reach
Afghanistan.
Afghanistan: Good soft power,
many infrastructure development (Parliament, bridge, road etc.)
India should use its diplomatic
power to save its interest in Afghanistan and Iran. At the same time India
cannot ignore China according to our Veteran PM Atal ji we can change friend
but not neighbor. India should focus on foreign police is with multi pronged
and more inclusive for India’s peace and development
