Questions
1) Bail reform is necessary for ensuring the last mile delivery of justice. Discuss. Also, enumerate the Supreme Court’s guidelines in this regard.
2) How does a strong space sector contribute to the overall development of a nation? Describe briefly the steps taken by the government for the space sector development.

Awesome! Comprehensive and balanced answer. Could have added Indian Space Association as well. Under uses, add Agromet services. Quality answer!
Thank you so much.
Please review and let me know my mistakes

Excellent! Very comprehensive. Do follow the word limit though. Some suggestions:
1. Mention disaster management explicitly in the answer (although You have mentioned cyclones, tsunamis etc. but add the keyword). Also don’t mention earthquakes, satellites can provide info about minute changes on land surface, but earthquake prediction isn’t possible yet.
2. Can add Indian Space Association also.
3. Don’t write NAVIC, NETRA under steps for development of space sector, You can mention them under Applications. You can mention some examples of each application.
All else good!
Okay noted!
Thanku for the review
Great! Just couple of things
– Under applications, provide some examples like names of satellites, navigation systems etc.
– Also add Indian Space Association under initiatives.
Rest is nice!
Thanks for the suggestions.
Please review yesterday’s answer as well.

Awesome! You have quoted relevant data, SC Judgments, CrPC provisions and Committee recommendations. Proper numbered points and good suggestions in way forward. Seems within word limit also.
Suggestions for slight improvement:
1. In need for reforms, add the point of arbitrariness in the exercise of discretion for granting bail by Courts despite the SC Guidelines. Also highlight that most under-trials are from lower strata of society having little knowledge/resources, so they suffer more.
2. As a value add, can also mention that there is no Statutory Right to Compensation in India. So accused, who are finally acquitted but still spend considerable time in Jail, suffer irreparable losses.
Refer to Nitika’s answer, she has mentioned some good points as well.
Keep it up!
Good answer! I personally feel that point-wise approach is better, as it helps in easier readability. Paragraph approach is more relevant in essays where you are telling a story, in GS, you have to be to the point and brief. But it’s your choice in the end.
Under application, you could have given more points like defense/military recon satellites, resource assessment etc.
In initiatives, you can add NSIL also. Gaganyaan will be more appropriate under applications.
Good attempt overall!
Thank you for your suggestions
Good attempt. You have mentioned many relevant points, but structure needs to be improved a bit.
First mention relevant data, e.g. ~75% persons in Indian jails are under-trails, i.e., they have not been convicted but awaiting trial. One reason is that most of them have not been granted bail.
Then list the need for bail reforms, mention reasons e.g., arbitrary denial, CrPC provisions and SC guidelines are not adhered etc.
Then mention SC Guidelines/Judgments. Mention clear headings for each section.
Right now, Your content is relevant, but structure is bit vague. With practice, it can be improved.
Yes , i will improve it .😊thank so much for review my answers
Thanks so much for review my ans.

Very high quality answer! Proper use of data, CrPC provisions, SC Judgments and guidelines. Proper structure and adherence to word limit. Can mention the point regarding discretionary powers of Courts to grant bail and lack of compliance with SC guidelines. Also in the absence of Right to Compensation, under-trials spending time in jail is akin to violation of basic rights.
You can also provide a way forward, like the SC has suggested that the Government should consider a separate law on bail. UK already has such a law, Bail Act, 1976. Also refer to Ravi’s answer below, he has also made some suggestions.
Very high quality answer! Awesome stuff!
Thank you so much for your guidance 🙂
Nice! Just 2 point missing I feel, Disaster Management in applications and Indian Space Association in initiatives. If possible, you can mention the name of satellites in applications as examples. Some other aspirants have done that.
Great answer overall!
Thank you
