Questions

1) An objective review of the “made in India” initiatives reveal that India does not yet have the domestic competence to fully design and manufacture any significant combat weapon/platform. Critically examine the statement.

2) Higher learning centers in ancient India enjoyed no less academic, administrative, and financial autonomy than the most autonomous universities in the world today. In light of the statement, highlight the significance of autonomy for quality improvement of higher education institutions.

Looks great! I feel the point related to autonomy in selection of faculty, and setting curriculum without external interference can also be added. Rest seems very comprehensive!

I feel its a good answer! You can add some fact in the introduction e.g., India is one of the highest importer of arms/defense equipment (SIPRI Report) to argue that India has poor defense ecosystem.
In challenges, mention poor R&D, and lack of manufacturing ecosystem especially in MSME sector (which limit the production of small but vital components).
In way forward, add improved R&D and measures to establish manufacturing ecosystem (policy, infra etc.)
