  1. Albert Einstein went one step further in acknowledging India’s contribution to world civilization, we owe a lot to the Indians, who taught us how to count, without which no worthwhile scientific discovery could have been made. Do you agree with the statement? Give reasons.
  2. What are some major contributions of India in the field of Mathematics?
  3. We have contributed greatly to Mathematics in ancient India, why are we not able to do such scientific research and innovation in the present times compared to the west(they have nobel prize winners, fields medal winners, big tech corporations, innovations but why not in India)?
  4. Why did Football become more popular in West Bengal, Kerala, Goa?
  5. I have heard a rumour on social media that since cricket was a colonial game of British origin, the people of Bengal took up football as a means to revolt against the Britishers. Is is true? Can you confirm it?

  1. Maths and Space research have a connection. It is usually said that space is described using Maths. Can you tell a specific language which can be used in research of Maths, Space and also links in the research of Computer Science?

  1. Okay Mr (My Surname), Consider that the CM, Mr Patnaik has appointed you as his chief advisor. Now the CM usually holds junta darbar at his residence to hear about the grievances of the people. Now design a mathematical model that would help to prioritize the people coming to the Darbar.
  2. Give the specific parameters you will consider to prioritize the people coming to the Darbar. Like whom shall the CM hear first?
  3. Suppose you are now an IAS, posted in a small town. Rural people are selling their produce on the mains roads like street hawkers and leading to traffic congestion. What will be your approach to handle the issue?
