Eudaimonism

Eudaimonism is a type of virtue ethics. This approach holds that the ideal goal of human existence is individual eudaimonia, which translates to “happiness” or “well-being” or “the good life.”

This well-being is attainable by the acting out of virtues (which the Greeks called phronesis) day in and day out in one’s thoughts and actions.
