Dear Friends,
As Mentors, we are often asked ( and untasked with forecasting ) about if a certain candidate will make it or not.
Among others, the ONE most important factor that will determine whether a candidate will make it or not is two things.
First, a Good peer group : If you want to forecast your own success in the examination, look around yourself. Are you surrounded with people who somehow manage to struggle and stay consistent, or are they a bunch of quitters? We have just entered Month 2 of SFG, and the chances of you writing these 7 AM tests will depend on whether the friends you have are doing it or have they found excuses to skip
Some will not continue, because they may feel they need to prepare better, some may quit because they think they have learned all that is needed to learn from the program. Some qill quit because there is something newer, more shiny, more lucrative, more distracting or perhaps on grounds that something is cheaper.
And if we are surrounded by people like that who are looking for reasons to quit, it is likely that sooner or later they influence us to do the same.
We see this every year how hard working kids in the not so great company end up squandering their chances.
Remember, we’ll always be the average of 5 people we most interact with.
Stay alert.
Until next time,
–
