Citronella, the essential oil found in Lemongrass, is registered with the FDA. It is the most widely used natural mosquito repellent found in candles, sprays, and lotions. To help deter mosquitoes with their strong fragrance, plant lemongrass along walkways and in locations close to seating areas.
