Excellent! Very balanced answer, almost all the points have been covered. Good that you have mentioned the Govt. initiatives as well. Nothing much to improve in my opinion.

Nice answer! One point you missed is the impact of faulty cropping pattern on soil health. Rest all is good. Try to use rough map of India if possible, highlight areas with high soil degradation. Make your answer look different.

Good answer. Just one point missed I think is faulty cropping pattern. Some crops are not suitable to the agro-ecological zone e.g., paddy in Punjab and Haryana. Over-irrigation here has resulted in soil degradation. Same point in mitigation measures adopting cropping pattern suitable to the local agro-ecology.
Pluse add some data, like the extent of soil degradation in India. And regions where degradation is high. You can even draw a rough map and highlight the areas. This will help get 0.5-1 marks extra.
